Job information

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables. Developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, and managing project risks
  • Translating product requirements into user stories, capturing user needs, acceptance criteria, and business value. Collaborating with the development team to ensure a shared understanding of user stories
  • Creating and maintaining the product backlog, which includes a prioritized list of features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Ensuring the backlog is regularly reviewed, updated, and refined based on changing priorities and feedback
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, UX/UI specialists, and QA testers, to ensure successful product development and delivery
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation, including project charter, requirements, plans and reports

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in project management, delivery management, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and techniques
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and related processes
  • Analytical mindset to identify and address project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks
  • Experience in project management tools and software for task tracking, resource allocation, and reporting (preferably Jira)
  • Problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles and make informed decisions

    What else is a plus?

    • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, business administration, or project management
    • Experience in development
    • Professional certification in project management, such as PMP

    Hiring process

    Initial interview

    During an initial interview, a recruiter tries to obtain relevant information about the applicant, their motivation, personality, leadership style, ambitions, etc. The main goal is to get to know the applicant better, their passion, skills and qualifications.

    Technical test

    Technical assessments are a combination of role-based assessments and knowledge-based questions conducted by technical personnel to measure an applicant's understanding of concepts, tools and frameworks related to a required technical skill or technology.

    Psychological assessment

    A psychological test for a specific job position (often called a psychometric test) is a standardized, scientific method measuring an applicant's mental abilities and behavioral style. This usually involves assessing an applicant's intelligence and aptitude and, in some cases, personality to ensure that he or she is a good fit for the organizational culture.

    Offer

    This is the final step in the selection process. After the candidate has successfully passed all the previous steps, Ewasoft makes an offer including the salary, the start date and the main terms and conditions of the offer. Once a candidate accepts the offer, the onboarding process begins, which involves integrating into the company and its culture, settling in, providing all the necessary information for their role, and getting to know the team.
