Job information

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Assume the role of a Frontend Developer within our project team, contributing to upcoming exciting projects and shaping our company's future
  • Develop features in accordance with project specifications, utilizing prototypes, as necessary. Ensure compliance with our best practices and project-specific concepts, and contribute to their further development

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in frontend magento development
  • Proficiency in HTML
  • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS
  • Competence in CSS and preprocessors, with experience in semantic, component-based, responsive, and mobile-first design
  • Proficiency in framework-less vanilla JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Figma as the primary communication tool between Designers and Frontend Engineers
  • Proactive communication skills and the ability to work independently with a high level of personal responsibility
  • Appreciation for close collaboration between backend and frontend developers
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
  • Design affinity and attention to detail
  • Fluent English

    What else is a plus?

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education/experience
    • Familiarity with Magento Hyvä Theme
    • Knowledge of AlpineJS
    • Understanding of modern JS frameworks
    • Experience with Design Systems
    • German language skills

    Initial interview

    During an initial interview, a recruiter tries to obtain relevant information about the applicant, their motivation, personality, leadership style, ambitions, etc. The main goal is to get to know the applicant better, their passion, skills and qualifications.

    Offer

    This is the final step in the selection process. After the candidate has successfully passed all the previous steps, Ewasoft makes an offer including the salary, the start date and the main terms and conditions of the offer. Once a candidate accepts the offer, the onboarding process begins, which involves integrating into the company and its culture, settling in, providing all the necessary information for their role, and getting to know the team.
